Who is Jennifer?

I’m a dynamic and motivated professional with a deep knowledge of change management and over 20 years of experience designing tailored training strategies, managing projects, and coaching individuals to success by gaining buy-in, developing capability, and eliminating performance gaps. An experienced former Public Official having served more than 15 years in elected office, I was a 5-term Council President that worked professionally and cooperatively at all levels with persons within and outside of the municipality to provide leadership and oversight, create policy and enact legislation as well as acted as a liaison to cultivate alliances to reach common goals. To this end, I have knowledge and experience in public administration, policy making, public budgeting, finance, and the legislative process.

Experience

I am a licensed and ordained minister who loves the Lord. I accepted and embraced the call on my life and seek to do the will of God in every area of my life. I openly share my testimony with others, believing that "as Christians, we have to lift one another up and keep each other encouraged by sharing our testimonies.

I am a certified instructional designer and learning and development consultant with extensive experience in training (instructional design and development, facilitation, and evaluation), education (curriculum development, presentation, and instruction), coaching (individual and team), technical writing, and project management. I have authored three books: Domestic Violence Education: A Journey of Knowledge, Healing, and Empowerment, Speak Life!, and I will Survive in Jesus' Name! As such, I have been asked to share my story and expertise with many organizations.

A skilled problem solver whose quick grasp of knowledge leads to sound solutions, I am an adaptable and transformational leader adept at cultivating strategic alliances that further establish and/or promote organizational goals.

Servant Leader

I am a servant leader; always keenly focused on the growth and well-being of the people, organizations, and communities to which I belong. I routinely share power, put the needs of others first, and help people develop and perform to their fullest potential and highest capacity. As the presiding member of a seven-member council body, I coordinated quarterly work sessions and special meetings to coach council members on how to develop policy; mentored members regarding budgetary processes, procedures, and associated codes and laws; and empowered them to problem-solve, conduct research, and collaborate to resolve the complex financial challenges facing the community. For these reasons, I was a trusted and sought-after leader who was unanimously and consistently elected by my peers to serve as Council President for five (5), one-year terms.

Minister, Speaker, Teacher & Author

People are encouraged by the testimonies of others; once you realize that God is no respecter of persons, you understand that what He did for me he can do for you." There is healing, deliverance, and most importantly, salvation, available to you TODAY - all you have to do is ask and is shall be given unto you (Matthew 7:7).

I am the President and CEO of Aphesis Publishing and have authored books tailored to meeting the spiritual needs of teen girls and women.
